Welcome to Mercy High School, a Catholic school with a tradition of excellence in education in Red Bluff since 1882. Our roots are connected to the Sisters of Mercy who founded our school first as Our Lady of Mercy Academy and today as Mercy High School. We continue to celebrate the Mercy traditions and honor our Mercy history and mission although, since the 1980's, we have been a diocesan school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento. We are one of five diocesan secondary schools within the Diocese of Sacramento.

As a college preparatory school we are committed to educating young men and women who are competent and confident in their ability to contribute to a more just, loving and hopeful world. Mercy students are challenged to develop in many ways. They will not only be prepared academically for college, but will also be challenged to develop their spirituality and commitment to the service of others. They will be encouraged to develop their skills in the arts and to participate in activities that will strengthen them physically and provide them the opportunity to work together with others for a common goal.

I hope that you find our website informative. Whether you are a parent, a current student, a prospective parent or student, one of our alumni, or a friend of Mercy, please feel welcome. Please know that we would be pleased to welcome you warmly to our campus as well.
