Mercy High’s Alumni and Friends Day held October 13th was a fun day filled with football, barbecues and the renewing of old friendships. Almost 400 alumni, friends and families attended a dinner that evening on campus. We had alumni dating back to the 1930’s in attendance, many of out former staff members also enjoyed renewing their ties with our school. Steve Dean prepared a truly delicious tri-tip and the Alumni Department provided the rest of the dinner including some excellent local wines and beer.

The highlight of the evening for our Alumni Department was simply hearing the many stories shared with us by past alumni, often these included stories of the former boarding students. The overriding theme was of fondness and appreciation to our school from these alumni of all ages and walks of life. We hope to make this a yearly event so if you missed it this year we hope to see you next year. Go Warriors!
